Details of Game #16:       May 07, 2011
Moorestown 15   -   Suffern 5     (Reg Season)

Moorestown handed the Mounties of Suffern a ten goal loss 15-5 in a late day interregional game.

If the goal of any team is to improve as the year progresses than maybe Moorestown is on it's way to achieving that goal, perhaps maybe someday this year, this team's best will be good enough to be the best. It is a work in progress and many players are having a hand in that goal becoming a reality.
Twenty one girls played but everyone had a hand in the victory as many girls continue to contribute in practice to make their teammates and themselves better each day. Eight different girls scored led by Steph Toy and Haleigh Dalmass' three goals apiece. Dalmass also had an impressive four assists on the day.
The Quakers did a great job of limiting their miscues to four, the lowest output of the season and played with passion on the redefending end. Moorestown had 24 shots on goal , giving them a very high shooting percentage of over 60% for the game. Draw contol was about even at 10-9 Moorestown which made the lopsided score all the more pleasing. Much of that had to do with the outstanding defensive effort by the girls and how they pressured the ball and found open teammates in transition.
Bridget Bianco had seven saves and the defense in front of her continues to progress as they are sliding and communicating much better with each other.
